Chemicals in Packaging Material
Due to the documentary film "Plastic Planet" we received several requests of our customers related to the packaging films we use. From the very beginning we decided to use packaging material which is commonly considered not to pose any health risk. It does not contain any of the currently discussed softening agents or Bisphenol A. With an average weight of 5 g packaging per 200 g product, fabrication as well as transportation are ecologically worthwhile than the use of e.g. disposable glas packaging. Appropriate waste removal assumed, the plastic film burns up without any residues and the released energy can be well used. With these packaging films we have chosen the most ecological and economical solution currently available. Should there be a more environmentally sensible alternative available in the future we will use it, provided it fulfils our quality standards.
